Societe Generale has been supporting talent young artists around the world in a board fields of paintings, sculptures, photography, music, etc since 1987.
In 2010, Societe Generale is proud to pioneer the Societe Generale Chinese Contemporary Art 2010 with aim to provide the gateway for emerging chinese contemporary artists to widely showcase their talents and gain international visibility. This first ever youth contemporary art awards is open to citizens of China P.R.C., Hong Kong S.A.R., Taiwan and Macau S.A.R. with an age limit of 35 years at the point of entry. Contestants can submit one piece of painting, drawing, photography and videography with some supporting information to show their art path, for example, an arts diary.
The submission process will be online via the official website at http://www.sgchineseart.com/
The awards art jury consisting of well renowned art experts will judge the first and second prizes while the third prize will be determined by majority online votes by the public.
The prizes are:
Jury Grand prize: EUR 15,000
Second jury prize: EUR 7,000
Public prize: EUR 7,000
The art jury will select a group of nominees whose work will be exhibited at the Vernissage and award ceremony in Beijing around early December at which time the three awardees will be officially announced. Following this, these nominees including the awardees will enjoy the profile of their artworks in Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong and possibly Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai and Singapore.

2010年，法興銀行開始籌辦法興銀行中國藝術獎。以鼓勵大中華區的新進當代藝術家為目標，為他們提供展示才華及創意的平台和創建國際知名度。今年首屆當代藝術獎接受所有中國大陸、中華台北(台灣)、香港特區、澳門特區的合法居民參賽，年齡最大不超過35歲。參賽者可以提交一件繪畫、素描、 攝影、錄像作品，另附上相關信息如藝術日記等以表明作品內容。
參賽流程將在官方網站www.sgchineseart.com 上發布。由著名藝術專家組成的評審團將共同決定一等獎和二等獎優勝者，三等獎則根據網上公眾投票的結果確定。獎品包括：
一等獎: 15,000 歐元獎金二等獎: 7,000 歐元獎金三等獎: 7,000 歐元獎金
藝術評審團將在12月初在北京的頒獎典禮宣布三位獲獎者名單，選出的入圍作品將於貴賓優先場展出。而所有入圍作品（包括三位獲獎者）將作北京、台北、香港的巡迴展覽(更有可能延伸至巴黎、上海、東京和新加坡)。
